New Gyaru for Beginners

Sooo remember how I told you before about Taylor Indiana's series called Gyaru for Beginners? In this series she explains about the absolute basic things every new gal should know in a very nice and understandable way. It is really helpful, as she is planning on touching on practically things from contouring to how to make the perfect coord. Before she has already posted about choosing the right kind of circle lensesChoosing and applying lashes and now she is writing a subseries about eyemake, as it is the most complex part of a gal's make.

After having waited a long time it has finally really started and she posted about the tools you need (also for smaller budgets ^^) and eyeshapes, the article you can find here. It is very interesting in  my opinion. I never knew there were so many different eyeshapes O.o

I think I have the 'almond eyes', how about you guys? The whole make changes with your eyeshape, so next she will be explaining how to do the basic eyemake shapes. I can't wait!

Gyaru Closet

I have been super busy these last weeks, sorry!! My internship now started for real, bf came back from his vacation, all the uni stuff has started as well and I joined a new fraternity .. I love this kind of busy!

I have not really had time for anything gal related though, which is too bad T^T. Buuut I thought of something you might find interesting: my Gyaru wardrobe! As I have been getting more and more into gal recently, I have been building me a gal wardrobe for about 5 months now I guess? Anyway, I am really proud and happy about the pieces I collected to far.

Take a look <3:

(Left to right: DreamV, H&M)

(Left to right: Glavil, H&M, Primark)

(Left to right: DIA, Primark, H&M)

(All Glavil, these are my favorites <3 )

(DIA moonbelt, I love this so much! My bf is still going to make it just a bit wider for me, since it turned out to be a bit small O.o)

As you can see, it is not that much -.- what can I, say students are poor..

I do feel really bad for having neglected my blog this much lately. I promise improvement ! Expect a new post within this week .

EOS Ice Violet circle lens review

As promised I will review the lenses I wore in my last post: the EOS Ice Violet. Ordering lenses is always a bit tricky if you have light eyes like me, so I searched a lot for reviews of these lenses before ordering them, but couldn't find any for light eyes. I hope this review will be helpful for others like me in the future ^^

Anyways, so I ordered them again at Pinky Paradise. I love this shop, they have so many different lenses! Plus a lot of other great stuff like nose make-up and such. They arrived at my home with the cutest matching elephant lens boxes <3

Here is some information about the lenses:
Diameter: 14.8 mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 8.8 mm
Type: 1 Year disposal

I couldn't wait to try them on! I have wanted to try purple lenses for some time now and I just loved the design of these ones. So here's a pic of me wearing them:

I think it's a shame you don't notice them that much T^T especially compared to on dark eyes:

Also they seem to have a much bigger center than in the picture of the site.. weird! So now on to the reviewing!

Color: 3/5
I love this color! It's a really pretty purple that seems really sweet and soft, while still being interesting and edgy enough for my more rock looks. It's just too bad they are not that noticable on light eyes T^T

Design: 4/5
I really like the design of the lenses, but I think I prefer lenses with a dark outer ring above these without a real noticable ring. It just looks less gal to me.

Enlargement: 5/5
These lenses will give you huge dolly eyes, even without the black outer ring.
Comfort: 5/5
I have worn these lenses for about 12 hours and haven't felt any discomfort or even dry eyes. Maybe I am a little less sensitive to these problems though, as I wear lenses everyday. Still they were really comfortable! (I even forgot to take them out, when I took of my make for meeting friends later that day:$ they liked them though)

Pro's:
+ Unique color
+ Great enlargement
+ Very Comfortable
+ Also available in grey, blue, green, brown and pink!
+ Available with prescription up to -10
+ You can even wear them without make, it looks pretty natural

Con's:
- Not very visible on light eyes

You can buy the lenses here for only $17.40

I hope this review was helpful!

New hairstyle ~

Hi dear readers! How are you all doing today? ^^
I am really great as I finally went to the hairdresser's \(^o^)/ In the post in which I told I was finally back from my holidays, I told you to really not pay attention to my hair, as it was a hot mess... So literally the next day I had my appointment at Kinki kappers. I was really nervous, since I did not exactly know what I wanted and had only brought some inspirational pics for them to work with:

As you can see I wanted something really different, more bold and edgy and suiting for the look I want for myself! Unfortunately I had to tell them I could not die my hair in really cool colours, as I will be starting my internship next week and they don't tolerate very out of the box looks T^T So I wanted to stick with browns and blonds and make it look a bit more 'natural'...

Unfortunately they misunderstood, so when I gave them these pictures and instructions, they understood I really wanted something natural. They did give me side bangs, which I have wanted for a Long time now, but they just died my hair in two tones of brown whcih are so close together you can't even tell the difference if you know // I was really disappointed by that! But well I am just going to let my hair rest for a little now and than try again ^o^ !

Here's the result for now:

Hihi only after the foto I realised my nails kind of match the phone cover XD (And no make I know :$) I think it's still kinda cute, how do you like it? I'll be trying to style it with the length like this first and mabe later try extensions if it doesn't work.

Gyaru for beginners series: Glamaxon

Time for another typical beginners post, since that's actually what this blog is supposed to be all about (sorry if I get a bit of track sometimes :$). I'm not sure if you heard already or not, but Taylor from Glamaxon is making a series of posts about gyaru for beginners! It is so great, because she explains in detail what to pay attention to and how to choose f.e. lenses so us noobs will have it a lot easier ^^

The first was about choosing the right Circle Lenses, you can find it here. I thought it was great how she explains about the different designs and how they blend in with your eyes, when they are dark or light, and the different sizes of lenses.

For me it is very difficult to choose lenses, as my eyes are very light and usually CL are designed for people with dark brown eyes. But now I found that the firework kind of designs would suit me well ^o^ so much easier!

After reading the post I decided to look for new lenses and found two great ones: EOS Ice Blue and EOS Ice Violet:

Which colour do you like best? Oh, I can't decide!

The second post was about choosing and applying fake lashes, this is here. It as all about the different designs and how to apply, very nice for us babygals ^^

For this she didn't really have tips of what to choose, though since it comes down to personal fvorites.. I think I like the spiked lashes the best, they work very well with rokku in my opinion:

So what do you think of the Gyaru For Beginners series? I think it's really nice someone takes the time to lay this all out for us! When starting there is just so much to look into, it can really be too much @.@ Anyhow, there are more posts coming so keep an eye out for them.

Mini Gal meet

So I planned my first Gal meet ! Towards summer everybody is always really busy, but we did really want to have a meet-up for a new mamber of our Dutch Gyaru group.. So I decided to take this much wanted distraction to plan a lunch/ shopping session/ drinks day for her to meet some of us ^^ Here are some of the pictures of the first part of that day, the lunch!

Haha the lighting in the restaurant was really bad, so we didn't really take pictures in there only in the bathroom :P The new girl (even newer than me) is the girl on the left, Sharon. She was really sweet and enthousiastic! I hope she will want to be a real gal ^^

We also made some selfies in front of the restaurant. I am really bad at selfies, because I never make them myself and you really need practice for them XD As you can see, we only had lunch with the four of us, but after lunch Amber and Jojo joined us for a little shopping and some drinks. We tried to make a group pic, which nobody was really happy with, and forgot to try again and retake it :$ I am going to share it with you guys anyways, because now you can see everyone's full outfits:

I look really weird in it, because I was not supposed to wear my jacket and my belt had somehow shifted up without me noticing T^T I really loved Jojo's and Amber's outfits, they looked so cute! I am not going to show you the shopping we did, as we only really but stuff at Hunkemoller ;) But a little tip: They have awesome garters and stockings!

This meeting was somewhat smaler than the normal meets, but it was actually really nice to be able to talk to everyone one-on-one^^ As I am new as well, I dont know everybody yet either, though I had talked to Lenie and Zoe before I had never really had the oppurtunity to talk more to Amber and Jojo, but they were sooo nice \(^o^)/

I am Looking forward to the next meeting already! Let me know what you think about my meeting posts? I am never sure what you want to see or hear!
Much Love!
