New nails for christmas

As christmas is drawing near and of course I needed new nails for that I have been really busy making two new sets ^^ However I only made pictures of making one of them:

Lately I have been really into pink and white <3 (Next to black of course)

After the base coat, I covered the tips of the nails in white glitter for the pink nails and pink glitter for the white nails ^^ You could only see it from up close though!

Then add some painted white crosses, the fat one was a bit uneven, and some gold flowers and finish it off with a few pearls for the glam <3

Instead of christmas I ended up wearing them to my father's wedding last friday, so I also made some new ones. They are very much inspired on a pair of nails Jojo made and I just loved! I only changed the colors and used crowns instead of crosses (my family is religious so crosses for christmas just wouldn't do xD). Her nails are on the left and mine on the right:

Since I will be leaving for over two weeks of Japan next saturday, I will not be able to tend to my blog for a while. Heavenly nails

Lately I have really enjoyed making nails! ^^ It feels as a kind of stress reducing activity plus it is an extra outlet for creativity, which I kind of miss in everyday life with all the hectic stuff going on. So today I decided to make a post about the nails I made this weekend: my moon and stars nails <3

I love the combination of black/gold especially with kind of a sky theme. So I decided to try and make some myself. Lately I have been stocking up on nail polish and nail decoration. This time I tried a new gold polish (which I thought was a bas coat, but it turned out to be a top coat xD).

After putting on the polishes and playing around with the base coat that turned out to be a top coat, this was the result:

As you can see I am still practising on making the transitions between the two colours smoother. They do get a lot better very fast! Next up were the decorations. You can never have enough deco -.^ My collection keeps growing, my decoration box really feels like my little treasure box. I never know what I will use before I do, so I love to just play around with it before gluing stuff on my nails \(^o^)/

After putting the deco on these were my nails with the moon and stars theme! Or at least one hand of them:

As I am never satisfied I let them just lie there for a day and only then finished them.

I really love them! Plus I already have the perfect outfit in mind to fit with them ^^ I can't wait to wear them to my society's christmas dinner soon. And I can't wait to start on a new set again! Lately I want to make them faster than I can wear them xD

Nail meeting

Last weekend we had a meeting to make nails with ReGal at Elise's place. Remember the nail inspo post I made last week? Well I forgot to bring any of it so I ended up just making the nails randomly xD I really did not have any experience making nails (I only tried it once before at OshareCon). So compared to some of the others I did not have that many supplies *^* Luckily they were sweet enough to let me borrow some of theirs!

We easily filled up the whole table! There were so many beautiful decorations <3

Haha I made some pictures during the crafting and you can see how concentrated people were!

My nails when they were done ^^ They are super princessy and cute, not what I had expected to make. I guess it kind of works! I am super happy with them <3

Afterwards we decided to go for a cup of coffee as we were all a little brain-fried but had not really had time to talk ^^ And of course we made a group pic!

I had so much fun! I really wanted to make more nails *^* So yeah... I did some eBay shopping for my own supplies!

Insta Nail Inspiration

For the nail decoration meeting with the gals of my galsa this weekend, I looked up some inspirational nail art on Instagram. Ever since Istarted using Instagram, I love it especially for this kind of purposes! The nails in these post are all made by the nail artists 'Ravi Nail' and 'Wiznail.Brazilianwax'. I could not really choose to stick to one theme, so sorry for the random mess of inspo -.^

I really love all these nails! Unfortunately I still have to practice a lot and hone my skills to be able to make nails like these <3 Look up the artists! They have made so many more great designs! Hopefully you felt just as inspired by these as me -.^
